April showers bring May flowers, and how welcome it is to see the blooms this year! Gallantly popping their beautiful heads up to cheer our hearts this spring and such an inviting sight to behold! In case you haven’t heard, the real estate market is strong and blooming right along with everything else this season. Home seekers continue to take full advantage of excellent loan programs that feature low mortgage interest rates and favorable terms.

Home sellers are thrilled by the equity gains bursting forth in the offers to purchase that they are gladly receiving. Whether or not you feel like it’s a good time to buy or sell a house certainly depends a lot on your perspective of the current market. From what the numbers are indicating, the perspective is positive from several points of view.

3.3% gains in home prices are attractive to those with a property to sell this season. Interest rates at or below 3.5% on average are enticing and increase affordability for those hoping to purchase a property this spring. Almost 65% of homeowners agree this is a great time to sell a home!

People seeking to buy a home wholeheartedly agree, taking full advantage of those favorable conditions as witnessed by the 4491 of the 6427 homes available for sale in the Colorado Front Range area this April that went from “For Sale” to SOLD! And that, after an average of just 29 Days on Market, certainly seems to support the statistics that sellers and buyers alike are quite happy with the average sale price of $517,460, a slight dip from April 2019. What a wonderfully cheerful way to welcome the Spring season to the real estate market across our gorgeous Front Range.

With all the necessary precautions being observed, there isn’t any reason not to get out and enjoy the blooming countryside and take a look at the real estate inventory in this budding spring selling season.
