Looking for a creative way to give thanks this holiday season? This gratitude tree is the perfect project to work on with family and friends.
Materials:
Long, thin branches
Tall vase
Sand or small pebbles
Leaf template
Fabric
Hot glue gun and glue
Thin wire
Cutting pliers or scissors
Cardstock
Hole punch
Marker
Directions:
Place all the branches in the vase, and pour in the sand or pebbles to keep the branches in place.
Using a leaf template, cut leaf shapes from the fabric. Use a hot glue gun to attach the fabric leaves to the branches.
Cut 2”–3” pieces of wire using cutting pliers or scissors. Wrap the wire pieces around the branches so that a leaf can be hung from each piece of wire.
Using your template, cut leaves out of the cardstock and hole punch each one of the points. Write what you are grateful for on each and hang from the wire on the branches!
