Summer is officially here in Colorado, and this coming week is the perfect time to celebrate! Though the Fourth of July holiday doesn't fall on a weekend this year, that's no excuse to not get your annual fill of fireworks and BBQs as we celebrate our nation's independence day! Use this guide to find your local area's fireworks schedule for this year, and, if needed, contingency plans if Mother Nature decides to interfere with the celebrations!
It's also important to note that, again for many years now, fireworks should be left to the professionals! As Colorado is yet again in another drought season, there are several fire restrictions in place throughout the state. To stay safe and keep the fun going throughout the day, be sure to check with your local City office and County Sheriff's office for updates and changes on restrictions, as outlined here on this article from the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control.
